Terms of Service

Welcome to Socialiser. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Socialiser mobile application, website at socialiser.app, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), provided by Socialiser App Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales ("we", "us", "our").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have authority to bind your business to these Terms. The Service is intended for business owners and authorised representatives, not personal use.
2. Your account
- You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
- One subscription = one business. If you operate multiple businesses, each needs its own account.
- You must provide accurate business information (legal name, address, contact). False information may result in suspension.
- Notify us at [email protected] immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Subscriptions, credits, and billing
Subscription tiers
We offer monthly subscription tiers (Starter / Pro / Business / Unlimited) and annual plans at a 2-month discount. Subscriptions are billed in advance through the App Store, Google Play, or RevenueCat. Pricing is displayed in-app at the time of purchase.
Credits
AI features consume "credits". Subscription tiers include a monthly credit allowance; you can buy top-ups at any time on any tier. Credits don't expire. Unused subscription credits do not roll over month-to-month.
Refunds
All purchases are made through Apple App Store, Google Play, or RevenueCat. Refund requests are handled per the respective platform's refund policy:
- Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com
- Google: refund within 48 hours of purchase via Play Store; thereafter via Google support
- RevenueCat web purchases: contact us at [email protected] within 14 days under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations
Used credits and consumed AI generations are non-refundable.
Cancellation
You can cancel any subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you keep access (and unused subscription credits) until then.
4. Content ownership
- You own everything you create — your posts, captions, brand kit, uploaded media, and customer data.
- You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and transmit your content solely to provide the Service.
- AI-generated content (captions, images, video) belongs to you. You're responsible for ensuring it doesn't infringe third-party rights.
- We may use aggregate, anonymised data (e.g. "small businesses post most on Fridays") for product improvement — but never identifiable content.
5. Acceptable use
You agree NOT to use the Service to:
- Post illegal content (defamation, harassment, copyright infringement, hate speech, CSAM)
- Run automated mass-follow / mass-like / mass-comment campaigns (these violate every social platform's ToS and will get your connected accounts suspended)
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your business
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or replicate the Service
- Bypass rate limits, billing, or credit consumption
- Run political or election advertising without proper disclosure
- Send unsolicited bulk DMs or comments
Violations may result in immediate suspension with no refund.
6. AI features — important disclaimers
AI-generated content is suggestive, not authoritative. Always review before publishing. We are not liable for the accuracy, suitability, or consequences of AI suggestions, performance predictions, or ad campaign plans.
- AI Coach gives marketing advice based on patterns. It is not a substitute for professional marketing, legal, or financial counsel.
- Performance predictions are estimates based on past patterns. Actual results vary.
- Autonomous Growth Agent automations (auto-DMs, comment funnels) operate within platform ToS rate limits but are not guaranteed to comply with future platform policy changes. Monitor your connected accounts.
- Brand Auto-Extract analyses photos you upload. Don't upload photos you don't own.
7. Third-party platforms
The Service integrates with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Google Business, etc.), sales platforms (Stripe, Square, Uber Eats, Shopify, etc.), and AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI). Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms. We're not responsible for:
- Outages, changes, or policy updates on third-party platforms
- Account suspensions on those platforms (we strongly encourage compliant use)
- Data accuracy issues from sales platform integrations
8. Service availability
We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in-app. We're not liable for downtime caused by third-party platform outages or our infrastructure providers (Cloudflare, Supabase).
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind beyond those required by UK consumer law.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of (a) £100 or (b) the amount you paid us in that period.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
10. Termination
You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Profile → Sign out → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
On termination, your subscription is cancelled (no further charges) and your data is deleted within 30 days (except billing records we're legally required to keep).
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be notified in-app and via email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
